Ines and Staden named to 2023 CCAC Softball 1st Team All-Conference, team awarded Champions of Character

Chicago, IL - The CCAC released the 2023 Postseason Awards list, including two Crimson Wave student-athletes names. Roxanne Ines and Adelina Staden both earned 1st Team All-Conference honors for their performance throughout the season. 

Ines, an Outfielder and Left-Handed Pitcher, finished the season with a .394 batting average and an on-base percentage of .438. The leadoff slapper totaled 50 hits, 7 doubles, and 25 RBIs through 39 games. 

Staden, a 1st Baseman and Catcher, led the CCAC with a .455 batting average, an on-base percentage of .503, and a slugging percentage of .724. As the clean-up hitter in the lineup, Staden tallied 63 hits, 23 doubles, 2 triples, 3 home runs, and 42 RBIs over all 44 of CCSJ's games. 

The Crimson Wave Softball Team was also awarded the Champions of Character Team Award.
