Women’s Soccer celebrates senior day as season comes to an end

Whiting, IN - The Calumet College Women's Soccer team ended the 2022 season celebrating their senior student-athletes. 

The Crimson Wave had a difficult season with multiple injuries affecting the depth of the team's bench. Despite those difficulties, the team completed the season and celebrated 5 athletes for their final games.

#3 Elisama Gurrola - started in 40 games over in 3 seasons, scored 1 goal and had 3 assists for a total of 5 points. 

#4 Mia Clavelli - started 29 games in 2 seasons, scoring 3 goals for a total of 6 points. 

#9 Mackenzie Pickens - started 21 games in 2 seasons, scoring 2 goals with 1 assist for a total of 5 points.

#10 April Mendoza - started 29 games in 2 seasons, scoring 4 goals with 3 assists for a total of 11 points. 

#12 Reyna Sotelo - started 36 games in 3 seasons and played a tough defensive line

The Crimson Wave finished the season 1-16 overall, scoring 5 goals and 3 assists.
