Crimson Wave Athletics Hall of Fame

The Crimson Wave Athletics Hall of Fame began in the Fall of 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic halted the inaugural Hall of Fame ceremonies. In the Fall of 2022, the inaugural Hall of Fame Class was inducted on Homecoming Weekend on September 23rd, 2022. The inaugural Hall of Fame included the three founding members of Crimson Wave Athletics, James Adduci, Andy Juscik, and Dennis Rittenmeyer.

Adduci was the Vice President of Mission and Development, being instrumental in building and growing CCSJ Athletics. Juscik, the first Atheltic Director and Women's Basketball Coach for CCSJ Athletics in 1999 was in attendance at the Hall of Fame Luncheon and shared the process of beginning Crimson Wave Athletics, the trials they faced, and the fond memories of seeing the first wave of graduates walk across the stage. Rittenmeyer, the President of CCSJ from 1987-2011, helped start the athletics program but also building the first athletic building for the Crimson Wave in 2009 later named the Dennis and Leslie Rittenmeyer Athletic Center.
