CCSJ Dance Team sweeps competition at 2024 Detroit Regional

Rochester, MI – The CCSJ Dance team swept its competition at the 2024 Detroit Regional on Sunday, November 10 at Rochester High School. 

CCSJ competed in pom, jazz and hip hop and managed to outshine its competition in all three categories.

In Jazz, CCSJ finished with a score of 76.20 to beat out second place finisher Washtenaw Community College at 71.63. 

CCSJ took first place in pom with a score of 79.80, outpacing Washtenaw Community College with a score 71.73 to take second.

CCSJ also finished with a score of 85.37 to claim first place in hip hop.

The dance team will look to have this same outcome when they compete in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Saturday, December 7.
