CCSJ Dance Team sweeps competition at 2024 Grand Rapids Regional
Grand Rapids, MI – The CCSJ Dance team swept all three categories at the 2024 Grand Rapids Regional Competition on Saturday, December 7 at East Kentwood High School.
CCSJ came in first place in pom, jazz and hip hop for its second consecutive competition.
In Jazz, CCSJ finished with a score of 80.30 to beat out second place finisher Washtenaw Community College with a score of 74.77 to take second.
CCSJ finished the pom competition with a score of 82.30, six points above second place finisher Washtenaw Community College at 76.03.
CCSJ also finished with a score of 85.10 to claim first place in hip hop.
The Crimson Wave's hip hop performance earned them the Be Bold and Collegiate Award specialty award. Their hip hop score was the highest scoring routine of any college in this competition.
