CCSJ Sprint Football Hosts Virtual Visit
Whiting, IN – For the first time in program history, the Calumet College of St. Joseph Sprint Football team will offer a virtual visit to student-athletes interested in attending CCSJ who cannot physically make it to the school for an official, in-person visit.
Since the inception of the sprint football team, CCSJ has built a roster that features student-athletes from 20 different states outside of Indiana. The program found it essential to create additional, accessible avenues to reach high school athletes from all parts of the country.
At the virtual visit, student-athletes will speak with head coach Jason Novak and recruiting coordinator and wide receiver coach Zach Jennings. They will also spend time with CCSJ staff and faculty members, including financial aid, admissions, academic advising, and instructors from different departments.
"We want everyone to understand what we have to offer here as a program and institution," recruiting coordinator and wide receiver coach Zach Jennings said. "We know that not everyone has the time or means to visit campus, so we strive to ensure that they fully understand all Calumet College has to offer. We want to provide as many details as possible so they can make an educated decision on their future."
The virtual visit dates are February 18 and March 24, both beginning at 7:00 p.m. CST. The registration deadline for February's visit is Friday, February 14 and the deadline for March's visit is Thursday, March 20.
