CCSJ Sprint Football signs Andrean's LaMere

Merrillville, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph Sprint Football program have signed offensive lineman John LaMere for the upcoming 2025 season.

LaMere, of Andrean High School, plans on majoring in Business and chose CCSJ because, "it's close to home." The 5'10 Crown Point, Indiana native says he is looking forward to playing football as a Crimson Wave.

At Andrean High School, LaMere was a member of the student council. On the field, LaMere finished his 59ers career as a three-time conference champion, a three-time sectional champion, a three-time regional champion, a two-time semi-state champion and one illustrious state championship.
