CCSJ Crimson Wave Men's Soccer team played at St. Ambrose University on Saturday, and lost 2-1 in a hard fought match. The first goal of the match was scored by CCSJ's Brenden Melvin to take the lead, but SAU countered to finish the 1st period tied 1-1 and scored again in the final minutes of the 2nd period to beat CCSJ 2-1. The Crimson Wave goalkeeper, Jose Molina, had 8 saves and the CCSJ defense worked hard to hold SAU from scoring.
The Crimson Wave Men's Soccer team is back in action Wednesday, September 29th at St. Xavier.
