Whiting, IN – Calumet College of St. Joseph women's soccer team suffered a tough 11-0 loss in the home opener at East Chicago Central High School on Thursday. The Tigers capitalized early in the first half, scoring four goals, followed with seven more in the second half to cruise to a 11-0 victory.
How it Happened
The Crimson Wave struggled to maintain its footing, facing a relentless attack from Campbellsville. The Tigers opened the scoring in the fifth minute and quickly followed up with a second goal in the eighth minute. Campbellsville added two more goals in the final 16 minutes in the first half.
In the second half, Campbellsville scored five more goals in a 30-minute time span. The Tigers finished the game with 20 shots on goal, 11 of them being successful.
