Bio

Emilier De Jesus was named the men’s and women’s head volleyball coach on May 1, 2024. De Jesus served as the men’s volleyball assistant coach for the Crimson Wave during the 2023-24 season.

Prior to CCSJ, De Jesus was the girls head volleyball coach at Lalamier High School in 2021. Before that, he was the boys head volleyball coach at Chesterton High School in 2020.

From 2018-2020, De Jesus was the girls head volleyball coach at Tecumseh High School in Michigan.

Since 2018, he’s been coaching and mentoring at the Kealoha Volleyball Club, which is located in Northwest Indiana. 

De Jesus brought a lot of knowledge to the club as a former high school and college athlete. He played volleyball three years at Chesterton High School and in his senior year, helped lead the Trojans to a 2014 state championship. In college, he went to Siena Heights and was a three-time all-conference libero. He won libero of the year his senior year and was recognized as a AVCA and NAIA All-American.

De Jesus earned a bachelor’s degree from Siena Heights in 2020.
