Wave finishes decade with loss to Indiana Wesleyan
MARION, Ind. – The Calumet College of St. Joseph women's basketball team returned from their holiday break early to spend their New Year's Eve on the road, facing Indiana Wesleyan University – historically an NAIA powerhouse. The Wave would briefly hold the lead early in the opening quarter, but couldn't contain the Wildcats, falling 93-55 in non-conference action. Alyssa Lovato (SR/LaJunta, Colo.) and Shakeana Clark (JR/Apopka, Fla.) led Calumet with 12 points each, while LaMichael Dean (JR/Chicago, Ill. ) pulled in a team-leading six rebounds.
