After a tough loss on Wednesday, the Crimson Wave hosted Governors State for their second game of 2022. The team is down in numbers and knew they would have to make do with only 6 players, but that didn't change their demeanor and readiness to fight.
The Crimson Wave started off the best they could while defending the Jaguars, but also in drawing fouls and making 50% of their free throws in the 1st half. The 2nd half proved more difficult for the Crimson Wave as they couldn't get their shots to quite sink and were no longer getting fouled. By the end, Governors State had taken their run and defeated CCSJ 75-38.
Zariah Frierson led the Crimson Wave with 19 points, 2 steals, and 7 rebounds.
