For their 2nd meeting of the year, the Calumet College Women's Basketball team hosted Cardinal Stritch for their first CCAC match-up of the week. The Crimson Wave started off the game strong defensively, but Cardinal Stritch's 3-point shots started to fall early on, giving them an early lead over the Wave and go into halftime up 35-19. The Crimson Wave didn't let that deter them from fighting back in the 2nd half, but the Wolves held the Wave to 25 points in the 2nd half which wasn't quite enough to catch up in the end as Cardinal Stritch defeated Calumet College 83-44.
Zariah Frierson led the Crimson Wave scoring 14 points with 4 steals and 3 rebounds. Shakeana Clark followed scoring 12 points and had 2 steals, 1 block, and 12 rebounds and Markeysha Coleman scored 10 points with 5 rebounds.
