Whiting, IN - Finishing out the CCAC season, the Calumet College Women's Basketball team hosted Trinity International. The Crimson Wave scored the game's first points, but TIU kept up, tying the 1st Quarter 15-15. At halftime, the Wave had a one-point lead at 30-29. The Crimson Wave struggled to score in the 3rd Quarter, getting outscored 14-10 but started to make a comeback in the 4th Quarter scoring 14 points. The Wave's effort wasn't enough, coming up just short and losing to TIU 59-54.
Jasmin Barker led the Wave scoring 22 points with 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 assist. Destiny Hughes scored 10 points with 6 rebounds, 6 steals, and 1 assist. Marisa Esquivel scored 9 points with 5 rebounds and 4 steals and Markeysha Coleman scored 9 points with 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals.
