Trinity Christian takes down Crimson Wave, 79-42

Palos Heights, IL. – The Calumet College of St. Joseph women's basketball team lost to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent Trinity Christian 79-42 on Wednesday, January 10 at the DeVos Gymnasium.

How It Happened

The Crimson Wave (1-12, 0-7 CCAC) found themselves in another early deficit that they were unable to climb out of.

The Trolls (2-11, 2-5 CCAC) jumped out to a 10-3 advantage midway through the first quarter. They extended their lead to double-digits in the second quarter after outscoring CCSJ 21 to five.

Calumet College performed better in the third quarter, scoring 20 points and shooting 43 percent from the field.

Despite the Crimson Wave picking up the pace, Trinity Christian didn't slow down either as they were able notch a 30-point lead in the fourth and cruise to the victory.
