Bourbonnais, IL – The Calumet College of St. Joseph women's basketball team lost on the road 118-38 to Olivet Nazarene Wednesday, January 17 at the McHie Arena. CCSJ has now given up 100 points three of its last four games.
How It Happened
To start the game, Marisa Esquivel made two free throws and a layup to give the Crimson Wave (1-14, 0-9 CCAC) a 4-2 lead. Unfortunately for Calumet College, that would be the last time they held the lead as Olivet Nazarene (7-10, 4-5 CCAC) went on a 34-7 run to end the quarter.
The Tigers lead continued to grow as it reached 50 at halftime. CCSJ finished the game with 43 turnovers, its most this season, and surrendered 100 points for the second consecutive game.

Sidney Elijah had 10 points and seven rebounds while Marisa Esquivel had eight points, four rebounds and three steals.
