Whiting, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph women's basketball team fell to NAIA's No. 3-ranked Indiana Wesleyan 109-28 at the Rittenmeyer Center on Thursday, October 31.
How it Happened
In the first quarter, Indiana Wesleyan got off to a 9-0 start before CCSJ's Ariana Lemons scored a layup for the Wave's first point of the game. The Wildcats followed up their great start with a 16-4 run to take a 25-6 lead after the first quarter.
The Crimson Wave were held scoreless in the second quarter and were outscored 53-22 in the second half.
For the game, Indiana Wesleyan shot 39-of-103 for 37.9 percent while the Wave shot 12-of-39 for 30.8 percent.
Crimson Wave Leaders
Ariana Lemons had six points and five rebounds while Nicole Swain had six points and three rebounds. Markisha Pritchett finished with five points and three steals.
