Women's Bowling finishes 12th at Kegel/ISBPA Collegiate Classic
The Crimson Wave Women's Bowling team placed 12th at the Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic on Sunday, January 14,
Addison, IL – After winter break, the Crimson Wave women's bowling team took the lanes for the first time in 2024 at the Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic on both Saturday, January 13 and Sunday, January 14.
CCSJ finished the weekend in 12th place out of 29 teams. After Saturday's five team games and Sunday's 20 Baker games, the total team score was 4271 and the Baker score total was 3378. The overall total for the Crimson Wave at the tournament was 7649.
Brooklinn Chavez led the way for the Wave, finishing in 14th place out of 194 bowlers, with a total of 917. Morgan Schoon came in 44th place with a total of 848.
Piper Plautz came in 115th place with a score of 550 in three games while Alyssa Olson placed 125th with a total in 491 in three games.
Savanah Rodriguez posted a total of 427 in three games played and Samantha Smolen bowled in one game and had a score of 149.
The Crimson Wave return to Addison on Saturday, January 20 for the Storm Baker Challenge.
