Wave drops tight match to Trojans
EAST CHICAGO, Ind. – Jade Newton and the Calumet College of St. Joseph women's soccer defense did all they could on Saturday, Sept. 27 to put the Wave in position to pick up their first win in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) play, but the offense couldn't seem to get off the necessary shots. Newton allowed just two goals, both in the second half to the Trojans, who are traditionally among the best in the conference.
