The CCSJ Crimson Wave Women's Soccer team defeated the Indiana University Northwest RedHawks 1-0 on Wednesday night to secure their first victory of the season. In a tough defensive game, Mackenzie Pickens scored the only goal of the night in the 2nd period while the CCSJ defense maintained a strong front for the entire match. The Crimson Wave goalkeepers, Marcia Keilman and Nova Lopez, each had 2 saves. CCSJ Women's Soccer is now 1-2 in conference play on the season.
The Crimson Wave Women's Soccer are back in action Saturday, September 25th at St. Ambrose.
