The Crimson Wave Women's Soccer team played St. Xavier University on Tuesday night, and were defeated 3-0. The CCSJ defense fought hard to keep SXU from scoring by drawing multiple offsides calls and with saves from goalkeepers Marcia Keilman (8) and Nova Lopez (3). CCSJ's Monica Clemente and April Mendoza had the only shots on goal for the Crimson Wave, but both were saved by SXU.
The Crimson Wave Women's Soccer team returns to East Chicago on Saturday, October 2nd at 5 PM to host St. Francis (ILL.).
