Crimson Wave Women’s defeats Trinity International

The CCSJ Crimson Wave defeated Trinity International on Wednesday, 4-3, and secured their 2nd conference win of the season. Monica Clemente scored first within 12 minutes of the start, but Trinity International countered scoring 2 goals at the 21st minute and the 22nd minute to take the lead. April Mendoza tied the game up, scoring in the 28th minute, and then again in the 41st minute to put CCSJ in the lead at the half. In the 52nd minute, Trinity International scored to tie the game at 3-3 but in the 87th minute Mia Clavelli scored to secure a Crimson Wave win. Goalkeepers Marcia Keilman and Nova Lopez combined for 4 saves on the day. 

The Crimson Wave have two matches left on the season, and play next on Saturday at Holy Cross at 10 AM.
