CCSJ Women's Soccer signs Hernandez for 2025 season
Whiting, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph Women's Soccer program have signed Monica Hernandez, a transfer from Joliet Junior College, for the upcoming 2025 season.
The 5'4 goalkeeper is from Joliet, Illinois and attended Plainfield Central High School. Hernandez has been a varsity soccer player since her freshman year and was recognized as a first-team all-region player.
She plans on majoring in Business Management with a concentration in Sports Marketing. Hernandez chose CCSJ because, "of the dedication and passion that head coach Ante Cop has for the sport of fútbol and for how immediately comforting this school is to me."
Hernandez also said she's looking forward to having a great season with a new team and honoring the school by representing them with pride.
