CCSJ Women's Bowling Take Third at Striking Knights Classic
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Calumet College of St. Joseph women's bowling team just finished up the Striking Knights Classic (Bellarmine University) at King Pin Lanes in Louisville, Ky., and faired quite well in the highly-competitive event on Nov. 19-20.
Both the varsity and junior varsity teams finished the regular game portion in 4th-place overall. Head coach Randy Vania saw both of his clubs respond well in Baker Game action, as the varsity finished in 3rd-place (13 teams) and JV moved up a pair of spots - finishing the JV portion in 2nd-place (5 teams).
CCSJ now has about a month off before heading to Las Vegas for a pair of mid-December tournaments, beginning with the Glenn Carlson Las Vegas Invitational on Dec. 19-20.
