Sanada signs with Crimson Wave Sprint Football
Whiting, IN – Calumet College of St. Joseph Sprint Football signed offensive lineman Cody Sanada for the 2024 season.
Sanada, of Carrollton High School, plans on majoring in Criminal Justice and chose CCSJ because "Coach Novak has created a great environment with the football program, and I plan to graduate with my bachelor's so I can promote in firefighting."
The 5'6 Saginaw, Michigan native says he is looking forward to "winning championships" at CCSJ. Sanada was a four-sport athlete in high school playing football, baseball, macho volleyball and wrestling.
At Carrollton High School, Sanada was recognized as an all-conference honorable mention in wrestling one year. He was also a member of band, Student Council, Student Board Representative, the Saginaw Career Complex Law Program, the Delta College Fire Academy and the Superintendent Advisory Committee.
Academically, Sanada was ranked 21st in his graduating class.
