Seven Crimson Wave sprint football players earn 2023 CSFL Hub All-Conference honors

Players Nino Barbosa, Trevor Busse, Quindarius Davis, Elijah Antis, Alexander Dellaechaie and Bronson Charles were named to the Collegiate Sprint Football League Hub National team while both Charles and Jacob Oehmen were named to the CSFL Hub All-Freshmen team.
Nine Crimson Wave sprint football players earn MSFL All-Conference honors

Calumet College of St. Joseph has nine representatives for the Midwest Sprint Football League All-Conference team for the 2023 postseason. Nino Barbosa, Elijah Antis, Quindarius Davis, Trevor Busse, Alexander Dellaechaie and Jared Saez received first team all-conference honors while Jacob Oehman and Tony Madrueno were received second team all-conference honors. Daymon Johnson was recognized as honorable mention and both Dellaechaie and Robinson Hale were both recognized as Captains of Character by the MSFL as well.

In only its second season as a program, Calumet College of St. Joseph can call them themselves champions of the Midwest Sprint Football League after a shutout out 31-0 win over St. Mary-of-the-Woods.

Sprint Football comes up short in home opener against SMWC

Whiting, IN - Kicking off the second season of Midwest Sprint Football, Calumet College, the reigning regular season champions, hosted St. Mary-of-the-Woods, the reigning postseason champions. The fourth meeting for the two teams had tensions high as the Crimson Wave had yet to beat SMWC in Whiting. The Crimson Wave struggled with penalties and to find the endzone and the Pomeroys raced to a 28-10 win over CCSJ.
