Roebuck, Lott lead Wave offense but Trolls take win over Wave
PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – Keenan Bellephant sank two free throws with just over six minutes to go in the opening half of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) matchup with Trinity Christian College (Ill.) on Saturday, Feb. 8 to put the Calumet College of St. Joseph men's basketball team up by two. The Trolls, however, responded with four consecutive, unanswered three-point baskets to take a nine-point lead that the Wave were unable to come back from, picking up a 83-79 win. Germaine Roebuck (SR/Champaign, Ill. ) led Calumet with 25 points, while CoreVon Lott (SO/Gary, Ind.) added 24.
