Crimson Wave lose in close game to Trinity Christian, 89-82

Crimson Wave Men's Basketball team (1-2 CCAC) traveled to Trinity Christian College (3-0) on Saturday evening and in an aggressive competition, CCSJ came up a few points short of the Trolls, losing 89-82. 

The Crimson Wave started the 1st half of the game within points of Trinity Christian but kept up the entire half to only allow the Trolls to lead by 14 points, 46-32. In the 2nd half, CCSJ put pressure on Trinity Christian, coming out to close the points gap to 9 points in the 13th minute. The Crimson Wave continued to play aggressively, closing the gap to 1 point with 7 minutes left, but were unable to pull ahead of the Trolls and take a lead before the game was over and Trinity Christian won 89-82. 

In total, the Crimson Wave were 35.4% in total Field Goals, 28.6% from the 3-point line, and 69.2% in made free throws. CCSJ's leaders were Malik Miller with 14 points, 10 assists, and 6 steals, Travis McBride with 14 points, and Wyatt Hughes with 9 rebounds.

CCSJ returns to action on Wednesday, November 17th at the Rittenmeyer Center to host Cardinal Stritch at 7 PM.
