Crimson Wave falls at St. Francis

Monday, the Crimson Wave traveled to St. Francis for a rescheduled game after their first win of 2022. In the last meeting, the Crimson Wave had defeated St. Francis with a buzzer-beater, 59-58. 

The Crimson Wave started off the game following close behind the Fighting Saints and even taking a lead at the 12-minute mark until there were 3 minutes left, and went into halftime down 44-38. In the 2nd half, St. Francis extended their lead enough that the Crimson Wave were unable to come back enough and find their opportunity to win. Fighting Saints won the game 78-66. 

Malik Miller led the Crimson Wave, scoring 16 points with 2 steals, 3 assists, and 1 rebound. Wyatt Hughes followed with 13 points and 4 rebounds and Josh Alcindor scored 12 points with 1 steal and 2 rebounds. The team was 48.3% in Total Field Goals, 38.5% in 3-Pointers, and 62.5% from the Free-Throw line.
