Men's Basketball defeated in final minutes by Roosevelt

CCSJ Men's Basketball hosted Roosevelt University on Saturday in a close game thriller that came down to the final minutes. The Crimson Wave played a tough first half, going 57.1% in Total 3-Pointers and 66.7% from the Free-Throw line, but it wasn't enough as the Lakers took the lead into halftime, 50-46. In the 2nd half, the Crimson Wave started off strong against the Lakers, outscoring them in the half, but just coming up short in the final minutes and lost 80-77. 

Malik Miller led the Crimson Wave scoring 14 points with 6 assists, 2 steals, and 5 rebounds. Josh Alcindor followed scoring 13 points with 5 assists, 1 block, 1 steal, and 3 rebounds. Noel Mpie had 12 points with 7 rebounds. The team shot 41.8% in Total Field-Goals, 64.3% in Total 3-Pointers, and 70.6% from the Free-Throw line.
