Men’s Basketball wins home exhibition opener 107-63

Whiting, IN - The Calumet College Men's Basketball team hosted East-West University for their home exhibition opener on Monday. The Crimson Wave had a strong first outing against the Phantoms as the two teams started off the game going point-for-point, but 6 minutes in and the Wave took off. CCSJ took a commanding lead of 51-25 at the half and only grew their lead in the second half to win the game 107-63. 

Crimson Wave Leaders

Dorwynn Smith led the Crimson Wave in scoring with 24 points with 4 made 3-pointers and 10 made field goals. Floyd Davis was close behind with 19 points, going 7-8 in made field goals and 5-7 on free throws, and had a double-double with 10 rebounds. Shammond Garrett had 5 assists and 4 steals.
