South Bend, IN. – The Calumet College of St. Joseph men's basketball team fall 96-81 to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent Indiana University South Bend on Saturday, January 6.

How it Happened

The Crimson Wave (3-10, 1-5 CCAC) came out ready to play as they faced one of the best teams in the CCAC. Throughout the first 10 minutes of the game, there were five lead changes and Calumet College used an 8-0 run to take the lead at 23-22.

CCSJ would continue its good start with five straight points from Devan Nichols and a layup by Floyd Davis to take its largest lead of the game at 38-32.

IU South Bend (11-3, 6-0) would turn the tide in the final five minutes of the first half, outscoring the Wave 16 to three.

With a double-digit lead at halftime, the Titans gained a comfortable lead at home.
