Men’s Bowling places 12th at Leatherneck Classic

Moline, IL - The Calumet College Men's Bowling team placed 12th out of 45 teams over the weekend at the Leatherneck Classic. After starting off the weekend in 39th place, the Wave worked hard to make up lost ground and finish in the top 15 teams. 

The Crimson Wave's overall Varsity team total was 9107, 90 points below the 11th-place team St. Xavier (IL). Stefano Cittadino led the Wave with a 216.5 average and 1299 total, finishing in 21st place out of 429 bowlers. Connor Pula finished 60th with a 1218 total and 203 average. 

The Crimson Wave's JV overall team total was 8469, finishing 8th out of 18 teams in the JV division. Kyle Johnston led the way with a 189.5 average and 1137 total finishing 103rd. Luke Rumininski was close behind with a 195.2 average and 1112 total in 116th.

The Crimson Wave will take a week's break and return to action at the Warhawk Open in Addison, IL.
