CCSJ’s Castillo and Moen earn CCAC Men’s Volleyball Player of Week

On Tuesday morning, the CCAC office announced that Pedro Castillo and Jacob Moen have earned Men's Volleyball Player of the Week awards after their season-opening performance in Michigan.

Castillo was awarded CCAC Attacker of the Week after posting a .362 Hitting %, averaging 6 kills per set, and 2.2 digs per set. Castillo had a total of 54 kills over the 3 matches last weekend that assisted the team with their 2-1 start to the season. 

Moen was awarded CCAC Setter of the Week after averaging 12 assists per set and never less than 30 assists in all 3 of the weekend's matches. Moen had a total of 108 assists with 0 errors over the weekend, with his top performance on Friday in their first win of the season securing 41 assists.
