CCSJ Softball signs Matheny from Nebraska

Whiting, IN – Calumet College of St. Joseph softball head coach Dave Lopez signed Ayla Matheny, from Fremont, Nebraska, for the upcoming 2024-25 season. 

Matheny is a 5'5 pitcher of Fremont Senior High School. While attending CCSJ, Matheny plans on majoring in Biomedical Science and chose Calumet College for "the opportunities and to play softball."

While at Fremont, Matheny was a member of Jag Nebraska and National Honors Society.
