CCSJ Softball signs Tanius from Nebraska

Whiting, IN – Calumet College of St. Joseph softball head coach Dave Lopez signed Kaylee Tanius from La Vista, Nebraska, for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Tanius, a 5'4 outfielder/catcher of Papillion La Vista High School, plans on majoring in Human Services at CCSJ and is looking forward to "getting to meet new people and getting to play the sport I love at a whole new level."

While at Papillion La Vista, Tanius was an honor roll student. 

Tanius said she knew CCSJ was the place for her as soon as arrived on campus.

"The moment I stepped foot on campus, I felt so welcomed and got positive vibes from everyone around," Tanius said. "Once I left, I just knew it was the place for me."
