Women's Track & Field finish CCAC Outdoor Championships with PRs
Joliet, IL - The Calumet College Women's Track & Field team competed at the CCAC Outdoors Championships on Friday and Saturday. Over the two days, three athletes competed for the Crimson Wave
Day 1 - The Crimson Wave only had two athletes compete on Friday. Zoie Ison and Maya Butler competed in the 200 Meters Dash. Ison finished 10th with a time of 26.46 and Butler finished 21st with a time of 29.22. Ison's time of 26.26 is the second fastest 200M time in Crimson Wave program history.
Day 2 - A day filled with many personal records for the Crimson Wave. Ison and Butler ran the 400M, both finishing with PRs. Ison with a time of 1:01.04, placing 4th and recording the second-fastest time in program history. Butler placed 11th with a PR time of 1:07.00. Isabel Rocha placed 19th with a PR time of 2:47.01 in the 800M and 13th in the 1500M with a time of 5:44.78.
The Crimson Wave Women's team placed 8th overall in the team standings.
