The Crimson Wave volleyball team fell to the University of St. Francis Fighting Saints tonight in a CCAC conference match up at the Sullivan Center in Joliet Illinois.
The Crimson Wave were defeated in three straight sets 25-8, 25-16, 25-20. CCSJ was led by 7 kills from Makayla Watts (JR/Trenton, Ohio) on 21 attempts. Sincere Northern (JR/Indianapolis, Ind.) added 4 kills while Alexis Switzer (SO/Portage, Ind.), Breonn Green (JR/Hammond, Ind.) and Jade Green (SO/Hammond, Ind.) all added 3 kills.
Rebecca Larios (JR/Whiting, Ind.) helped out with 6 assists on the night for the Crimson Wave.
CCSJ now 0-6 overall and 0-4 in the CCAC will be back at it again in Lincoln, Il. to take on the Lincoln College Lynx in a CCAC showdown at 7:00 pm on February 11th.
