The Crimson Wave women's volleyball team took a CCAC loss tonight to the Saint Xavier University Cougars in Chicago, IL 3-0.
The Crimson Wave fell in straight sets 25-14, 25-10, 25-9. Sincere Northern (JR/Indianapolis, Ind.) led the effort with 6 kills on 17 attempts while Makayla Watts (JR/Trenton, Ohio) added 5 kills on 25 attempts. Emma Sweeney (JR/Lockport, Ill. ) led the defense with 9 digs.
Rebecca Larios (JR/Whiting, Ind.) tallied 12 assists for CCSJ.
The ladies 0-8 in the CCAC and 0-10 overall will take the week to regroup before hosting Olivet Nazarene University on Saturday at 1:00 pm. No fans are permitted in the RAC but the game can be viewed on the Crimson Wave Sports Network.
