The Crimson Wave Women's Volleyball team was defeated in three sets; 12-25, 13-25, and 19-25 by St. Xavier University on Thursday night. CCSJ improved every set, decreasing their number of errors and making more offensive plays, but really made a comeback in the 3rd set with 8 kills and capitalized on SXU errors to close the gap by 6 points. Leading the night for the Crimson Wave was Sincere Northern with 5 kills, Rebecca Larios with 7 assists, Jade Green with 4 digs, and Makayla Watts and Amari Jefferson with 3 block assists.
The Crimson Wave Women's Volleyball team return to conference play on Monday, October 4th at 6 PM at Trinity Christian College.
