Goshen, IN - Calumet College Women's Volleyball traveled to Goshen College to kick off the Leafs' season. The Crimson Wave scored over 20 points in each set but would come up just short in the final plays of each set, losing 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-21).
The Wave totaled 25 kills and forced 13 errors from the Leafs, giving up 22 errors in the match.
Delia Macdonald led the Wave with 11 kills and a .389 hitting percentage in the match. Ivana Quiñones had 21 assists and 6 digs and Andrea Matias had 11 digs.
The Crimson Wave heads to the Aquinas College Tri in Grand Rapids, MI on Friday, August 25th to face Goshen College and Aquinas College.
